Dietrich School Graduates Honored by Pitt Alumni Association

Michael Bryson (A&S ’68), Tyler Gourley (A&S ’05), and Emil M. Spadafore, Jr., Esq. (A&S ’71), have been recognized by the Pitt Alumni Association for their service and leadership. They and other PAA award winners will be celebrated at a gala on May 16.

Michael Bryson and his wife, Kathryn F. Bryson (EDUC '68) are recipients of the 2014 Bill Baierl Distinguished Alumni Service Award, which honors University of Pittsburgh alumni who have enriched the life of the University through their volunteer service both to Pitt and to their communities.

Tyler Gourley is the recipient of the 2014 Ivan and Mary Novick Award for Young Alumni Leadership.  This award was established to recognize younger alumni members for their outstanding contributions and volunteering on behalf of the association.

Emil M. Spadafore, Jr. is the recipient of the 2014 Volunteer Excellence Award.  Better known as the Volunteer of the Year award, this award has been established to recognize and honor individuals who have enriched the life of the University of Pittsburgh through their volunteer efforts.
