Studio Arts Summer 2013 Creative Research Exhibition, January 15 - February 7

Held for the fifth year in the University Art Gallery, this exhibition features the work of Summer 2013 Undergraduate Research Award recipients concentrating in visual art as well as Studio Arts majors participating in the Summer 2013 Wyoming Field Study. Works in painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and mixed media will be exhibited. Participating artists include: Theresa Baughman, Julia Betts, Megan Kopke, Troy Novak, Nicole Somplatsky, and Kristi Werkheiser.  

The exhibition runs January 15 – February 7, 2014 and will open with a reception on Wednesday, January 15, 4 – 6 p.m. Conversations in the gallery with Undergraduate Research Fellows will be held Wednesday, January 22nd at Noon, and with Wyoming Field Study participants, Wednesday, January 29th at Noon.

The exhibition is in the University Art Gallery, Frick Fine Arts Building, University of Pittsburgh. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Monday, January 20th). All events are free and open to the public. The exhibition is presented by the Department of Studio Arts with the University Honors College and the Dietrich School's Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity.
