2 Pitt alumni have been elected to the National Academy of Education

Jinfa Cai (EDUC ’94G) and Drew Gitomer (A&S ’82G, ‘84G), University of Pittsburgh and Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC) alumni, have been elected to the 2025 class of the National Academy of Education.

Drew Gitomer is the inaugural Rose and Nicholas DeMarzo Chair in Education at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. His research examines policy-related issues in teaching and teacher education. Gitomer was also named an LRDC Distinguished Alumnus in 2012.
