Brittany Graham, the assistant manager of the costume shop for the Department of Theatre Arts in the Dietrich School was recently awarded at The Swedish International Film Festival. Graham designed the costumes for the Titanic-Inspired film, Unsinkable which won for Best Costumes at the festival.
Unsinkable is the story of what happened after the Titanic sank. It follows Senator William Alden Smith as he begins an investigation into the sinking of the White Star Line ship and tries to find someone to point the blame to. The film was entirely shot in Pittsburgh and features many local actors.
Brittany has been a freelance costume designer since 2008 having worked in many states including Pennsylvania, DC, Maryland, and Wisconsin. She has been working at Pitt since August of 2022 and continues to design costumes for productions in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
