Come celebrate Malcom X Week

Join the Dietrich School’s Department of Africana Studies for Malcom X Week.
 
The events kick off today, April 7, with a film screening of Do the Right Thing and a talkback afterwards. It is from 5:30 pm to 8 pm in the Barco Law Building, Room 111.

Wednesday, April 9: Keynote Lecture by Dr. Richard D. Benson II: “Requiem for a Revolutionary: The Life and Legacy of Malcolm X”

Dr. Richard D. Benson II is Associate Professor of the Black Radical Tradition in Education in the Department of Educational Foundations, Organizations, and Policy at the University of Pittsburgh.

Thursday, April 10: Open House and Pop-Up Block Party
