Delanie Jenkins, an associate professor and advisor in Studio Arts has an ongoing art exhibition at Kipp Gallery. Timefulness is Jenkins's first solo exhibit in a decade and has been a work in progress for over five years. She cites the Pitt Humanities Fellowship she is participating for helping her research and create her work
“Timefulness offers three works as meditations on change. Influenced by the erosion of a national landmark, a boom-and-bust ruin of an oil-producing state, and the overw
helm of consumer waste, Timefulness considers geologic time scales, human impacts of consumption and waste, and the forces of the planet and our responsibility to it.”
The exhibit runs through December 5, except for November 27-29. Jenkins will be holding an artist talk on November 12 at 5 pm. For more information on the exhibit and how you can see it, you can visit the Kipp Gallery’s Website.
