Eight University of Pittsburgh students were named to the U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program. Seven are from the Pittsburgh campus and one is from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.
- Zain Adamo, a sophomore in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences majoring in film and media studies (United Kingdom)
- Madison Dougherty, a junior in the Dietrich School and David C. Frederick Honors College studying biological sciences (United Kingdom)
- Mackenzie Evans, a junior in the Dietrich School (Tanzania)
- Eithne Maro, a junior in the Dietrich School majoring in classics and philosophy (Germany)
