A Graduate Student in the Department of Biology was Interviewed by Nautilus

Tessa Alise Rhinehart, a graduate student in the Department of Biology at the Dietrich School was interviewed by Nautilus about a bird study. The study, titled “Birds of Feather Talk Together” has shown that birds of different species may be communicating to each other via nocturnal calls. Rhinehart, who was not a part of the study, studies AI and how it can be used to interpret animal vocalizations. You can read what she has to say about the study here.
