Save the Date for TechStravaganza 2024 – August 15, 2024
The Dietrich School IT & Data team is hard at work preparing a full day of technical training scheduled for August 15, 2024, for the 2nd annual TechStravaganza!
TechStravaganza is a full day in-person/virtual technology training event designed for Dietrich faculty and staff. The day includes 45 min long informational sessions, covering topics in four main tracks: data tools and reports, DASH, enterprise software and office productivity, and accessibility. Sessions will be hybrid, available in-person or online. In-person participants can enjoy complimentary breakfast & lunch with colleagues while attending multiple informational sessions over the course of the day and a welcome back Ice Cream Social to close out the day!
Registration opens July 17th! Choose the classes you would like to attend and let us know if you plan to join us for the Keynote Speaker breakfast, lunch and the Welcome Back Ice Cream Social!
TechStravaganza Schedule
8am – 9am Join us for coffee and a light breakfast in the William Pitt Union Ballroom. The day will begin with a keynote address from, Dr. Natasha Tokowicz, Associate Dean for Equity, Faculty Development, and Community Engagement!
9am – 12pm Attend technology driven classes held in the Cathedral of Learning classrooms. Classes are designed to focus on software and tools for Dietrich School Faculty & Staff. Thank you to the English Department for hosting our event in their classrooms.
12pm – 1pm A catered lunch will be provided in the William Pitt Union Ballroom for registered attendees and volunteers.
1pm – 4pm Classes resume in the Cathedral of Learning classrooms.
4:15pm – 5:30pm Join us back in the William Pitt Union Ballroom for an ice cream social hosted by the Dean's Office.
