The Ombuds Office
The Ombuds Office provides a safe, welcoming, confidential and unbiased setting for faculty, staff and graduate students within the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and College of General Studies to discuss concerns, connect with resources and explore options for informal resolution.
Individuals may contact the Ombuds Office to discuss difficulties that have been unresolved elsewhere or to discuss new issues. We encourage individuals to contact our office at the earliest stages of an issue or grievance so that we can assist before escalation occurs.
Ombuds team members can listen to concerns, provide information on both internal and external policies and procedures, connect individuals with appropriate resources and explore options for resolving conflict or surfacing issues of concern.
