April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and here at the Dietrich School, we support survivors. If you or someone you know is looking for help, we have created a list of resources below.

If you would like to show your support around campus and wear a SAAM T-Shirt, you can email Carrie Benson, the Director of Sexual Violence Prevention and Education in the Office for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at carrie.benson@pitt.edu

About SAAM: 

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). SAAM is a time for the Pitt community to come together to support survivors, increase knowledge and awareness, and identify strategies to eliminate sexual violence from our campus. Prevention at Pitt, the university’s new Office for Sexual Violence Prevention & Education, has created a calendar of events for SAAM to create space for education, dialogue, and survivor support.
