Pitt Women’s Soccer Recognizes 13 Dietrich School Faculty as “Most Valuable Professors”

Dietrich School Faculty Invited by Student-Athletes to Attend Pitt Women’s Soccer Match

Thirteen faculty members from the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh were invited by Pitt women’s soccer student-athletes to attend their match against Clemson at Ambrose Urbanic Field on Thursday, Oct. 3.

The student-athletes welcomed their favorite faculty members, named “Most Valuable Professors,” onto the pitch to take celebratory photos with the team following the match, which the Panthers won, 4-1.

CGS Alum Wins News Emmy Award

Chris Papst (CGS ’03) won a News Emmy Award from The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Papst is an investigative reporter at WBFF in Baltimore and won in the Outstanding Regional News Story Category for “Disabled & Denied,” a series of reports by his team that exposed the shortcomings of Baltimore City Schools and its educational offerings for students with disabilities.
